Our Mission in Addiction Recovery

Maze forming a cross with text 'TRAPPED In The Addict' below.

Our Mission

Our mission is to proclaim that there is hope for every person trapped in addiction or destructive lifestyles. Through the Christian teachings found in the Word of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ, we point people to the stability, freedom, and abundant life that only He can provide. The purpose of Titan Ministries, Trapped In The Addict, and all of our resources is to offer addiction support by leading the broken back to Scripture. Here, they can discover their true identity, God-given purpose, and the promise of a brand-new life serving a God who is worthy. "Sobriety is only the beginning" on the path of spiritual recovery.

Our Beliefs

We believe that all people have sinned and fallen short of God’s perfect standard (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from God and leads to death, but God offers the free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the perfect sacrifice for our sin. Through His death on the cross, He paid the debt we could never repay, making it possible for us to be restored to right relationship with God through salvation (John 3:16). Jesus’ life and teachings are our example for how to live. As we follow Him, we learn what it means to walk in holiness, humility, and love (1 Peter 2:21). The Word of God is perfect and trustworthy, the final authority for faith and life (Psalm 18:30; Proverbs 30:5). The local church has been commissioned to make disciples and equip believers to grow in their faith and walk in obedience (Matthew 28:19–20). We believe in true transformation through Christ, which also plays a crucial role in addiction support. We reject the phrase 'once an addict, always an addict.' In Christ, we are made new creations, renewed in mind and restored to live with purpose and freedom (2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 12:2). Our commitment to Christian teachings emphasizes that through spiritual recovery in Christ, we can find healing and wholeness.
